Aicha Cherif is a 24-year-old producer, director and editor based in NYC. She integrates her documentary and film theory backgrounds into her work with various brands. Aicha conceptualizes, shoots, and edits videos that authentically resonate with contemporary culture.

Aicha embarked on her creative journey at the age 15. Fleeing gender-based violence in her homeland, Guinea, at age one, she found solace in storytelling. Her personal work delves into the complexities of broken families, roots, and the human soul.

After being selected as a Tribeca Film Fellow in 2018, she directed 'I AM THE ONLY ONE,' exploring the effects of family separation on her relationship with her mother. Later that year, the New York Times profiled Aicha, highlighting her work for The Love Vote, an innovative film-based voter turnout platform. She is currently in production on her third documentary, HEAT, which explores the personal toll of the privatization of public housing.

Aicha brings a documentary eye to every project, crafting intimate, culturally resonant stories that connect people and place. She produces, directs, and edits across formats, combining visual artistry with a deep focus on human experience and social relevance.
